chided by voices

last night, kimclum, thien, karen and i went along to have mussels at cadieux cafe on detroit's east side. and then, we found our way, very belatedly, to the tigers game. we missed the no-hitter the night before; the tigers lost by one to the brewers, but we had a totally fabulous time. i like kim, thien and karen very much. one of the things i like about them is how kind and generous and loving they are with each other.

they thank each other profusely and sincerely. it is refreshing.

we watched feather bowling, but we didn't jump in the pit and hurl. we did leap into our buckets of mussels and belgian beer.

fergie was performing across the street from comerica. midtown was animated with suburbanites.

i taught my very last course at the university of michigan tonight. it was sort of lame and unceremonious. (history of housing hasn't been the same since fall 05).

tomorrow miss bird comes to visit and we wheel to traverse city. mucho excited.
