"i was the one worth keeping"

i just have been juggling too many things. and been getting frustrated with myself for all the balls in the air, but i started to figure some things out and i think that i am on firmer ground. this is the first extended period that i am confronting anxiety without the benefit of psychotropic drugs. it's not so easy.

it's a market morning, but i am not obligated to be there. i i made two find-a-words this week for the children. one is pitched for younger verbal little people -- they find six words in a field of many letters. the title of that is WHAT WE GROW in OHIO in JUNE. the other is entitled: WHAT YOU FIND AT THE MARKET so it includes produce and people and a smattering of crafts. there's some tension at our market about the ratio of farmers to other vendors. it's not really a farmers' market if it is dominated by jewelry and soap-makers, potters and bakers.

tomorrow, off to flint for a recruitment drive for the storycircle project in july. i am going to a reunion of skilled trades people who worked at chevy in the hole. and then an overnight in ann arbor. i am going to do some work in a real library with real databases and a phat map library. i spaded that map librarian so well when i was there...thank goodness i wrote all those thank you notes to him. he's letting me return to scan some rare-ish 20th century maps of d.c. and a great totally problematic map authored by the grocery chain A+P about foods in the U.S. it is terribly racist and i cannot wait to have my own set of jpgs from it.
