not enough hours in the day

i am rapidly cycling right now...luckily i am on a swing up that helps me keep moving.

the sunshine helps me so very much. it is quite glorious here on the western edge of the EST with all the sun. for real. and mild and temperate.

i attended a meeting this morning with a number of colleagues from around campus to work on resuscitating a campus/community collaborative project. it was heartening and exciting. i work with some really imaginative and smart people. i am so lucky. and i often lose sight of this.

i remember how this time last year, i thought that i would be singing emiliana torrini "unemployed in the summertime" for the rest of my life.
