for those of you who are finishing writing projects (i.e. articles, syllabi and other important personal or professional correspondence) get off neurotic-ah, set the timer and get to work. and, later today, if you like, send me the best sentence that you have written.

Not the best sentence, not even a good sentence, and perhaps not even a particularly coherent sentence, but simply the shortest sentence (from a draft of a piece about contemporary performance art vs. 1980s live art/activism):
"How is the naked body in current performance similarly polemical?
Butt-glue is real and it works.
My sentence: "We wil snip fresh mint and make a butt-glue tea."

Busy busy busy with the studentals this week. Memorizing 50 names + home towns (for upper div course) has impressed them that I take them seriously.
Or that I am horribly inefficient with my time.
But I will start writing again tomorrow--I promise!
I don't have any coherent sentences - only dull standard based IEP goals that are supposed to be in parent freindly language but when you think about it is anything that starts with "Will make progress toward Illinois Learning Standard 1.B.2a....." really parent friendly? I'll get back to typing now although neurotic-ah is much more enjoyable!
tomorrow school starts and i just added a new section to the syllabus. four sentences but they act like one big one:
There are two research projects. The first one is due November 7. The second one is due December 12. You will receive plenty of information regarding project guidelines and requirements in class.
