conference is good. there was some really weird stuff during a panel i attended earlier today and then at lunch. sometimes some white men just don't understand when to shut their mouths. it is surprising to me still when men run their mouths about inappropriate things in mixed and unfamiliar company. you all know how much i run my mouth, but dang. these guys were b.a.d. today. i felt obligated to call it the presenters' attention (the repeated and unselfconscious use of the verb ogle is a problem); and then again, with my lunch companions who said all manner of things.
