you know it's a small town when

your colleagues insist at meeting at the other cafe just in case anyone from the unit or college would be around. (and i guess you also know it's not that small of a town when you have two of each to choose from).

it's the end of the term and conspiratorial and collaborative cohorts and i are holding klatches at various coffee shops to plot for next term.

i haven't quite figured it all out, but there must be something significant about the coffee shop choices of my peers.

do we meet at espresso royale? which one? on main? state? or south U?
do we meet at sweetwaters? which one? on washington? or kerrytown?
do we meet at zingerman's? the deli of course. no one meets at the roadhouse for sitdowns.
