overheard in my home

kd md and i generally do not answer the land-line. this is a habit i acquired while living with the bird. who knows where kd md picked it up.

at any rate, skm answers the phone and speaks to callers. just now, someone, a pollster's phone monkey in a cubicle in a call bank somewhere, is presently quizzing her on her political opinions. she has firm and decidely D-emocratic opinions. she is analyzing the questions, repeating them back and taking them apart. she just excoriated the inquisitor saying these are terribly inflammatory. these are poor options you are giving me. i am a survey researcher myself.

oh no. i realize that it is about abortion. she is pro-choice. and she is chewing the caller out. i believe some would say tearing a new hole.

she just said you are working a republican aren't you? she slammed down the phone. and she is repeating the questions to me. she went into the kitchen. she is continuing to explain the questions to me as she recalls them. she is complaining now because this is what her sister does for a living and she loathes it. she is worked up. thank goodness she was boiling potatoes for mashing. she can work out her anger. she is in an absolute lather. it might be a miso lather because that is what she was coating her fish in before she was interrupted. oh dear. when is that fierce diva tyra, miss jay and jay coming on? we need some ANTM to relieve the tension.
