but first, a zinger from katha quinn. last night while the emmys were still being broadcast i received this email message:
Kelly,
Your boyfriend lost out to Barry Manilow. I am so embarrassed for
the two of you.
Also, I heard Tim Gunn say on Larry King that he regrets
using the word zaftig about a model. I am anxious to hear about your
weekend. Love Mom.do you see why i adore this woman?

I adore all the rice puddings of the world. Especially if fresh mint has been snipped into it.
The snipping of fresh mint into rice puddings--well, that just makes me *melt.*
"It completes me," much like Madeline's soft fur and the flow of Yoga. And Yoda. And sensually productive butt glue.
Hugs and kisses for the recent Neurotic-ahhh shout-out, re: the review of the book--I have printed this out and put it on the fridge, under magnet. :-)
I might also observe that this Famous DC Rice Pudding could also make an ideal base for the butt-glue.
Just add ground barbaro to taste--
Final thought: I think you need to get off of Gratitude Journaling about that Guy Raz--GR is soooo 1998.
Today it's all about Morning Edition's Steveinsky and his tart-tounged interview style, yo.
Okay--must do some work now.
