stuck on the stairs

my jasmine is not the brightest dog in the county. maybe even in the region.

she just watched me carry some of her dog food downstairs to the "pantry." she never goes down there. she must have decided to strike out tonight on the promise of kibbles and bits and bits and bits?

i wasn't paying much attention. i buzzed around the house moving laundry and such, and realized that i didn't see her anywhere on the ground floor, the principal floor we inhabit.

so, i called to her and found her stuck in the middle of the stairs to the basement standing on one of the treads perched, not really certain should she go up or down.

i think that she was going down in search of the food, and either forgot or got flummoxed.

she seemed really relieved to have me come along and help her up. poor big girl.
