david and joan and some others have been asking for more pictures.
karenna and i took jasmine to the arb recently to take in the peonies. here's one reason i like ann arbor. they understand the importance of public works and infrastructure that cater to dogs. please note the scale of the drinking fountains and the arrangement.
jasmine seemed to really, really appreciate it too.

i love seeing pics of your daily life. your life in ann arbor appears to be sunny and green! beautiful.
when you posted pics upon my (and joan's) request, you showed your readers that you're willing to take requests. i have one!
i want to know where you're at with your dissertation.
i want to know how many chapters your diss is, how many are done, and how many need to get done. i want to know how you're approaching the final stretch and if you have any major (or minor) mind hurdles to get through.
(reality flash: can you imagine how much you will enjoy ann arbor with the diss done?)
q, you know me well enough to know this ain't a nag. if we were face to face (most likely near a body of water and under the sun) we'd talk and talk and talk about it. but without that, we can blog about it!
so: i want to know: a) how many chapters the diss is, b) how many chapters are complete, and c) how many chapters need completion.
