just back from dinner at pacific rim with nick + rebekah and alex + sophia.

i love being with creative people.
i enjoyed sitting with them so much that i actually chewed my food and savored the taste of each of duke's hand-crafted morsels.
i am also very glad that i don't have to teach tomorrow and i am also very glad that i don't have a child.

i have been working too hard lately and really feeling impatient and frantic. i need to breathe more deeply and more deliberately.

i am very much looking forward to this weekend to have so many friends and family here to share the puppets and beyond. it is going to be grand. we spent a lot of time tonight over dinner chatting about the plans for sunday.
