hear all the bombs, they fade away
good show tonight at clutch cargo's tonight in pontiac. i had a few flashbacks while there. the setting is an adaptive reuse of an old church...somehow that reminded me of a place in oxford when i was a student there -- called freud's. it reminded me how some silly pals who were at christ church and about to be rusticated made cartoons of the facade with the name changed to pseud's.
as i listened to crane wife, i detected a little moody blues and a little talking heads...two bands that trigger high school memories: a concert at meriwether post pavilion where i met a bf; and an outing with kristin and nikki and who knows who else to see stop making sense at the senator in bmore. [i miss those girls a lot]
bmore and catholic high school girls make me think of nancy pelosi who is promising the most ethical congress ever. good luck with that.
it seems that maybe here in michigan we voted to protect mourning doves, but not affirmative action. there you go.
